4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: APR 11, 2013 Pours a dark amber with a dirty head. Looks like it will tast like an amber, but instead a wonderful and powerful hoppiness attacks the palate. Not as much aroma as I would have thought, but nice caramel notes without the attendant burnt malt flavor that usually accompanies caramel malts. Hints of pine and citrus. Full bodied. A great beer.
Update, 4/11/13: Just bought another 22oz. bottle, and this is a VERY different beer - not dark amber, but almost as dark as a porter. And strong notes of a toasty malt. Although the bitterness is still there, this bottle of AB is MUCH darker than any other I have had. Must have been a bad batch. I would rate this as a 3.0 overall,

3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
16 oz can. Pours deep mahogany with a huge tan head that lingers leaving huge lacing. Aroma of overripe fruit, sweet malt and a hint of cinammon. Fruity, sweet malt flavor, quickly giving way to long, herby and piney hops linger, leaving tongue a bit numb. Thick and oily mouthfeel with lots of warm alcohol linger. Overall, liking the balance. Not as aromatic, but good malt to hop profile.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml can from Brewdog shop.
Big off white head, good retention, good lacing. Hazy dark amber body. Woody nose, raisin, brown sugar, a little honey. Flavour is sweet malt, biscuit, dark fruits, hop bitterness follows and lasts well. Great mouthfeel, creamy, oily and a little sticky. Like a big bastard supercharged brown ale.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
No detail information about the malts, hops and drinktemperature on the can but an awesome story.
Red brown beer with cappuccino head, heavy bitter with a long finish, after a short time you can smell the hops and very light also the malts, light bread, creamy, full body,

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
0,5 l can, Berlin version. Bright red brown in the glass, big light tanned head. Looking really good. Sweet malt and fruity on the nose. Taste starts with an all overlasting bitterness. Different taste more in the background. Also alcoholic bitterness. Little bit sticky. Boring due to the bitterness. Expected wayyyy more.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
CAN 50 CL by Stone Berlin. Almost clear dark ruby-brown, nice beige head. The aroma has faint notes of caramel, more dark bread, very light roast. Traces of hops, and a hint of sweet cheese pie. Taste: just an impression of caramel, bready. The strong spicy bitterness - hoppy and slightly roasty - makes it feel dry and easy-drinkig. Light boozy notes just add to the spiciness. Silky smooth and easy-drinkig. Very good.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from Berlin. Aroma rich in malts, with some bread, cherry accompanied by hoppy notes (fruity and herbal). A little bit of alcohol when warmed up. High bitterness, medium sweetness. Nice, fruity aftertaste. Not bad overall - would have been better produced in smaller can.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
W aromacie kwiaty, ciemne owoce, rodzynki, fenole, troszkę po belgijsku, słodko, bardzo przyjemnie. W wyglądzie rubinowe z gęstą, beżową pianą. Smak bogaty, z jednej strony ciemnych owoców, fig, rodzynek, przypominający triple, z drugiej chmielowa kontra w postaci ostrej grejpfrutowej goryczki, cytrusowości, ale takiej gorzkiej. Fajne połączenie szkół belgisjkiej i amerykańskiej. Finisz drożdżowy, zbożowy, karmelowy. Gdzieś tam w tle wyczuwalne akcenty z mocnych, słodowych piw. Czarna puszka idealnie pasuje do tego trunku. Ogólnie solidny amerykański strong ale, ciekawy, dość pijalny i ostry. Niezłe piwo.
