Draft. A golden beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits and malt. The flavor is sweet wieth strong notes of citrus fruits on a malty background combined with a note of grass. Not a pilsener hop profile.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub in Arrowtown. Apparently this is a venture into a newer style. Hazy pale yellow, certainly not cloudy, so this beer is clarifying with age. Very hoppy floral perfume aroma. Clean pale malts, grainy, with loads of hop character. There is the floral perfume that is present in the aroma, along with some lovely citrus and pear notes. Finish is very bitter, as it should be. This is a truly excellent pilsener.

This beer was so cloudy, that it looked just like a Belgian Witte. I was expecting banana, cloves and bubblegum, but was rewarded with citrus, passionfruit and just a touch of banana. The flavours were grassy with rock melon and lime peel with a lingering bitterness. Such an enjoyable beer. Once the clarity problem is sorted (which I am confident that it will be) this beer will win awards.
