Draught at Arrow Brewery, Arrowtown. April 09. Tasting sample - Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, citrus, honey and grassy hops. It’s quite thin which is expected, but it’s a pleasant beer nonetheless.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of honey and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey as well as lighter notes of straw and minerals. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky.

phaleslu (3530) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 20, 2009
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of honey, grains, and light hops, with a flavor that follows suit along with some malts and light grassy notes. As it warms and gets lower, the honey strengthens. Very light bodied. Excellent for a pale lager.

DuffMan (4418) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 22, 2009
Sampled on tap at the brewpub in Arrowtown. This batch is 4.4%. Clear light golden yellow. Very fresh floral (clover?) aroma with definite honey notes. Flavour is much the same with slightly biscuity pale malts. It’s nice that this isn’t excessively sweet despite the honey character. Finish has mild bitterness.

Clear, lemon gold with a fluffy white head. Lemongrass and fresh hops on the nose. Light honey and BIG citrus on the first impression, this gives way to green grape juice. Not heavy on the honey (which I like). Lacking a little in body, but this doesn’t affect its popularity.
