COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
If you like your hop content high, but your abv low, this golden session ale is ideal. We’ve packed it full of hops (particularly the fragrant Bodicea variety) to make this beer full of flavour despite being just 3.9%

On tap at the Rake. Clear gold beer, tiny white head. Light semi crisp and semi dry palate. Nice light beer with a touch of creamy malt. Nice vibrant citrus orange with a blooming bitterness. Crisp finish. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Great flavour for it’s modest abv.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Honey pale malts, fruity and floral hop, balanced and drinkable stuff. Quite happy with this.

Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2011. Poured a clear, light golden with a loose & fluffy, lasting, medium sized white head atop. Zesty lemon & lime charactertistics, some hints of grapefruit too, particularly on the palate. Quite crisp, fresh & juicy. Lightish but firm body, slightly spritzy mouthfeel finishing with a lingering dryish bitterness.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Clearish yellow with no head. Urine and hay on the nose. Light sweet flavor, some floral notes, grass, more pee. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dry finish, some straw hoppiness, light honey malts. Just alright.

@ Royal Oak Twerton. Dead looking dull straw. Herbal and quite spicy hop character. Flat body, but with a fairly rich hop profile that starts woody/mossy but becomes juicier towards the finish.

Cask (Guide Dog, Southampton) - Amber in colour. Malty and fruity aroma with some light dried fruit hints. Fruity taste with hints of dried apricot followed by a fruity and malty finish. Not as hoppy as the description suggests.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath, winter festival 21/02/09. The pump clip stated the ABV was 4.2%. Pale amber with a decent white head. Sweet malty aroma, with some cherries and grassy hops. Flavour also began with a touch of sweet caramel before a big bitter finish. Pretty good.
