Bottle. Billowed bright gold. Attractive aroma mingling pineapple, huge Fruit Salad hop, red apple, thistle, pine, melon and pear drop yeast. Soft tropical confectionery citrus with plenty of pineapple and a bitter soapy pine finish. Good stuff.

Cask at Grape and Grain. Pours a gold colour with a thin white head. Light malt aroma, not much else. Medium body, mild carbonation. Touch of butterscotch, little woody dryness, bit of grapefruit. Nice enough. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden with an off white foam. Aromas are white grape with leafy, woody pine and mineral notes. Mellow oranges with floral notes. Flavours are mellow white grape and pithy bitter grapefruit with lemon. Nutty with a dry, green finish. Nice.

Bottle from Teign Cellars. Peachy, zesty nose with some loveheart candy and some kiwifruit. Pours a hazy gold with a fat, fluffy head. Flavour is very dry with notes of orange peel, lemon pith, pine needles and cloves. Not a lot of sweetness adding balance but that’s ok - the hop whack is the payoff on this one and it pays off in spades. Very nice.

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Mild English style hops - more bitterness than fruit. Moderate minerals. Semi dry finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol, September 2012. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, hedgerow fruit and caramel aroma. Flavour had some earthy malts, apricots and peaches, with a slightly bitter finish. Ok.

Gravity dispense at the Duchess of Cambridge, Stamford Brook - 12/07/12. Clear golden amber with a thin white head. Fruity nose with hops and a touch of earthiness. Citrus fruits in the taste, with the orange family at the fore, a little sweet sugar. Medium in body, bitter sweet finish. Drinkable but wouldn’t revisit.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Amber colour, small white head. ARoma is fruity, floral and some slight nectary and honeyish notes along with sweet maltyness. Flavour is being rather similar, but the maltyness is a bit stronger and crispier. Very nice and refreshing.

Bottle shade at ChrisO’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. Clear orange amber, white head. Nose is tangerine, wet leaves, touch of earthy, pear drops. Taste is tangy, bitter. There’s tangerine, but it’s sour. Really great aroma but taste doesn’t quite live up to it..
