2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask (gravity)- The Bree Louise, Euston, London. Poured a hazy deep amber with no head. Raw, muted citric hops, earth & toffee on the nose. Again, some raw hop, a bit of heat and a lingering non-descript bitterness. Didnít feel at all rounded and individual characters were almost indiscernible. Medium body, soft and a bit warm on the palate.

Cask, gravity, at the Pig íní Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Amber. Odd hint of aniseed or something similar in the aroma and taste, together with traces of sulphur and cardboard. Sharp bitterness follows. Theis somehow doesnít convince me.

Pigs Ear. Clear and somewhat dark gold beer. Semi dry palate. Sweet light toffee malt. Well balanced with some piney bitter hops. Really well joined up. Lovely sweet and bitter vibe going on. Semi dry finish. Could drink loads of this.
