Hoppy nose with the orange coming through clearly. Pours, well, orange. Flavour is bitter from the hops but sweetened by the orange in a fair balance. Finish is long and dry. Very nice.

Bottle, picked up from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon consumed at home Sunday 21.10.12 Pours hazy orange/gold. I enjoy the Art Brew Hip Hop range but I’m not quite as struck on the others (this included) Interestingly I looked at my ratings the other day for Art Brew and I really hadn’t realised but it was very clear that the Hip Hop range (all of them) were my top rated Art Brew beers. This beer was too sweet, was a bit flat and whilst a little orangey, had little else going for it. There is a little bitterness but it just doesn’t do much for me at all. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov11 2.8

Gravity dispense at the Prince of Wales, Farnborough BF - 12/10/12. Listed @6.4% ABV. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head that soon dissipates. Orange zest on the nose, hops, a little booze. Tastes of boozy orange, like Cointreau light! Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a bitter finish. Intersting and drinkable but a little one dimensional, a pint would have been too much! Unless you like boozy orange/Conitreau a lot !

Gravity @ The Bree Louise. The pour’s a amber orange color with a small white head. The nose is marmalade, orange, spice rack, and bizzare cheap mint candy. The taste is herbal hops, sweet orange syrup (something like a fanta reduction), hints of toothpaste. A bit sweet, strange. Incongruous flavors. Overall, a strange one. Art Brew are capable of good stuff, they’re also a bit uneven at times. Maybe this wasn’t on great form?

Bottle. Hazy orange, golden with an off white foam. Aromas are spiced oranges with yeast and woody notes. Hints of pineapple with mint and floral notes and coriander. Caramel and biscuit malts with ginger. Flavours are herbal with lemon and yeast. Oak barrel with hints of pine and more musty yeast. Light, sweet pineapple with spiced oranges and warming alcohol. Decent.

Bottle conditioned at West Country Ales, Cheddar Gorge, Somerset. Orange gold with white head. Quite a sweet fruity beer, orange peel on the nose but a pulpy fleshy orange juice note in the body. Citric hops, tangy, a pretty decent beer but short on the palate.

Bottle from Kris Wines. Amber colour with thin white head, slightly cloudy. Aroma is slightly hoppy with a whiff of orange, not just ’this smells a bit orangey’ but orange. Fairly light body, especially considering the abv, and then a building citric hoppy finish, bitter and also a little orangey. I like this.

Bottle from Tuckers Maltings. Cloudy Orange-golden colour, mid-sized head. Good malty base for Lots of resiny hops and Lots of bitter orange. Smoothie palate. A very nice beer.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet and bready malts with some slight fruity and floral notes as well as mild nectar. Flavour is citrus, some sweet fruityness, zest, mild grass and quite crisp and sweet maltyness balancing the bitterness out. Long fruity and citrusy aftertaste.

Huge orange... peel and juice. It gives you what it says, but leaves me feeling I am drinking orange crush...missed the mark.
