(500ml) Tulip pint glass . An orange peel infused IPA sounds like a chill concept and lets see here . Orange peel is there in this nose but not all consuming like Hoeggarden’s use of orange peel , no, its used with skill so not to fuck up the aromatic hops . good fucking nose !!! golden/blonde with a nice foamy creamed white head . This drinks down nicely ! orange peel notes amalgamated with wat ever floral zest bomb hops they’re using here. not fucken bad.

Bottle. Brewed with fresh orange peel, giving a lovely flavour, but there is a bitterness that tastes of the inside of the peel. Mabe they shpuld have gratd it instead.. But with a little tweaking, this will be great.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet and bready malts with some slight fruity and floral notes as well as mild nectar. Flavour is citrus, some sweet fruityness, zest, mild grass and quite crisp and sweet maltyness balancing the bitterness out. Long fruity and citrusy aftertaste.

Bottle conditioned at West Country Ales, Cheddar Gorge, Somerset. Orange gold with white head. Quite a sweet fruity beer, orange peel on the nose but a pulpy fleshy orange juice note in the body. Citric hops, tangy, a pretty decent beer but short on the palate.

Thanks to Keen Massey for this one. Very hazy orange - amber beer, good off white head. Light orange on the nose. Smooth palate, a little dry. Mild carbonation. Orange marmalade and fresh orange citric hops. A little cream in the malt base. Semi dry finish with orange bitterness and mild minerals. Different!

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival on 27 April 2011. Gingery amber colour. Loose white head. Very strong orange aroma. Firm fruity flavour with (surprise, surprise) more orange. I know that some hop varieties impart an orangey character but this was more like a lot of real oranges had been included in the brew. Perhaps a bit OTT, even one-dimensional, but very tasty.
