Cask conditioned at Wantage Beer Fest ’11. Chestnut with cream head. Sweet, stickiness, vanilla and a hint of bonfire. Really fairly cloying on the palate. I didn’t get on too well with this.

Cask at the Grape and Grain Autumn beer festival 2011, Crystal Palace. Cloudy brown pour with a beige head. Vanilla and smoke nose. Chocolate, vanilla and licorice flavours. Very porteresque.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Smokey dark beer. No real head. Fairly drinkable dark smokey beer. Some bacon. Some roastiness. Frankly the pain in my tooth was so much that I found it hard to concentrate on any thing else.
