We’’ve collaborated with Sophie Atherton, the UK’s first female beer sommelier to bring you this unique saison inspired farmhouse ale. Made with Dorset malts, English hops and saison yeast, we’ve then added a tangy twist and infused it during maturation with marigolds, historically a Dorset crop.

Bottle. Hazy golden with a thin foam. Aromas are yeast with caramel and spiced oranges. Trace banana with wheat and earthy hops. Flavours are sweet wheat and caramel with oranges and mellow lemon. Some barnyard notes and a fruity, yeasty finish. Decent.

On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol. Golden with a slight white head. Sweet mix of yeasty stone fruits, hay, floral hops and honey with a spicy edge and moderately bitter finish. Eccentric.

An excellent looking beer, but sadly let down by a flowery taste which leaves an unpleasant after taste, A strange one to be sure.
