COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Special;
As Monkey IPA, but tinkered with. The addition of chilli and ginger as if your taste buds could handle it anyway.This is stupid, stupid, stupid.

Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury. Clear deep amber/golden. Ginger aroma. Sweet and fruity with medium body clean rounded mouthfeel. Hot chilli flavour that kills everything in it’s way. The most apt commercial description ever...

Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Fest ’12. Hazy gold with no head. I got the chilli and ginger in this straight away, there is a burning heat with the sharpness of the ginger, in a curry great, in a beer not so.

Bottle that I picked up at Vincent Montgomery Butchers, Wantage, Oxon, Saturday 22nd October 2011, consumed Saturday 29th October 2011 Pours light amber with a filmy white head. Warming with the chilli showing a little and the ginger apparent but a little less intrusive. A little flat in the mouth, citrussy, its not bad at all. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask at the ’Grape and Grain Spring Beer Festival’ 2011. In the wise words of Messrs Clapton, Bruce and Baker this was a Straaaange Brew. Light amber pour with a white head. The ginger and chilli invade the nasal passages straight away tried to find something else in there, coriander perhaps? Maybe some cloves and cardamom too. Spicy, HOT!! flavours. lots of ginger, and throat roasting chilli. Spicier than a couple of hot lesbians getting it on finish. Weird!!

Gravity at the Grape and Grain Spring Beer Festival 2011. It pours golden yellow with a thin white head. The nose is pepper, chilli, farmyard, cheese, floral, blutack and some caramel. The taste is lots of pepper, red chilli, a little ginger, pine, lemon fairy liquid, grass and hay. The finish is kind of soapy with a fiery chilli burn. I found it quite difficult to drink and the combination a bit weird.

Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.

Clear light medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, soap, ginger, light chili. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, peppery - gingery finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100429]

Half at Market Porter. A nicely balanced hoppy IPA. VERY floral, caramel and eldeflower. Great for the spring and very drinkable. The hops were not insane and I don’t think the IBU was too high but it was a well balanced spring beer. Excellent conditioning. A massive chilli - pepper kick back.

Cask, Coventry BF 2010. Undiluted orange cordial aroma with fresh hops and a weak dusting of ginger. Balanced orange rind hoppiness, distant burn off the spices moving into cream and nuts. No alcohol. Balanced and pointless. Like it.

Cask, Bacchus, Newcastle. Woahh!! Love chilli. love ginger in beer and the two combined produce an explosive flavour. A fiery attack on the nostrils and throat, warming, to say the least, with plenty of heat on the way down. Love this kind of experimental stuff, but not one to overdo....!
