355mL thanks to nickls. The pour is a clear cola brown with a thinning, tan head. Spotty lace. Aroma is dark fruit/raisin and date heavy with smoked and spiced orange. Very nice. Taste is lemony tart, thin, lemon tea, mild roast and ash. Palate is very weak, almost straight water with very mild bitterness.

An oatmeal stout perhaps explaining the enormous bubbles in the head which settles to a tan mat. kind of watery in the mouth, but with strong tang of roast barley to finish, some licorice and chocolate, and some yeast ester fruitiness. Some good flavours but mouthfeel is a big drawback, just too watery and short on the palate. Needs more malt guts. basically drinkable though.

dark brown, large bubbled cream head. Nose is dusty cardboard, chocolate powder. Flavor is sweet and light, like overripe granny smith, spritzy chocolate, ends fair roast. Short finish, bit of toast.

Bottle. Tan head on a hearly black body. Light roast, but not getting much else going on in the aroma at all...that’s poor. Flavor is lightly roasty, smoke, and mostly bland. Thinner, watery body.
