A little heat on the tongue goes a long way to balance the sweetness in this very special mead. This honey wine is the result of many test batches with combinations of spices, herbs and pretty much anything else we thought might work well. The result is slightly picante with a wonderful cinnamon finish. After taking the first sip, we said, “Wow! This one’s great!”

Great aroma but the rest of the mead doesn’t match up. Very thin body and almost colorless in appearance. Heat dominates with the cinnamon flavors relegated to the background. The heat at least has a good flavor. Overall it improves with each sip but out of the gate it lacks character.

Pours a very pale yellow. Aromas of honey and wax. Flavor is earthy waxy honey comb up front. Lightly sweet with mild cinnamon. The finish has a blast of heat with a mild earthy burn. A bit on the thin side.

Pretty good mead with nice spicyness. The cinnamon is light and nice and their is a spicyness in the throat at the end. There is an off putting note of cat piss in there that i cant get past however.
