3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 31, 2005
(Bottled, BBE 12/2006) Hazy yellow-golden color with a smallish, bubbly head. Crisp, fruity, lemon-lime-hoppy aroma. Fruity, somewhat sour and acidic, spicy and dryish flavor. Medium-bodied palate with quite high and foamy carbonation. A reasonably refreshing, quite true-to-the-style, although a bit acidic blonde. Not bad.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very yellow beer, slightly hazy with a decent head. Soft and slightly perfumy with a pronounced, hoppy finish. Very classical wallonian "Blonde" at their best. 180501

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear honey golden, with a glorius, rocky white head, courtesy of an excellent pour from my fair hand. Malty/wheaty aroma - quite sweet. Pretty standard Belgian blonde, that’s to say a refreshing, slightly sticky, honey tinged, malty ale. Refreshing and clean, a notch above a good Lager, probably. Scorchingly singular in places.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 leaparsons (6323) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2005
Golden and yellow with a big but disappearing head. Aromas are yeasty and fruity with spices. Flavours are peaches, with yeast and spices on the finish. Bitter and peppery notes stay on the palate for a decent aftertaste. A bit heavy in terms of carbonation. Decent.
