3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Schroppfy (2326) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, USA - AUG 6, 2002
By far the palest Wit I’ve ever laid eyes on, and not too hazy either, so I can see right throught it. Weird! HUGE head. The aroma is nice, but the body is even lighter and fluffier than it should be for style, I think. Nice spices in the taste, with mostly pepper and a tad coriander and much reduced citrus components (well reduced orange peel, but perhaps increased lemonness). Interesting to say the least. Thanks again, Bov. -- Ahhh...OK, now the substantial yeast pour stiffens the body a bit.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, pale, yellow beer with an almost clinically white head and loads of impurities. Pronounced citrusy flavours an a very evident - and not entirely pleasant - lactic touch. Actually somewhere close to a Berliner weisse in it’s pure form. I prefer the softer, more refined wtbiers. 140799

(on botlle) Dusty, cloves and orange sent. Watery mouthfeel, whiped creamish feel in the finish, without any other caracter.

Bottle. Colour like lemonade made with fresh lemons, muddy yellow. Refreshing coriander aroma. Thin flavour which gives the impression of carbonated water with coriander.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Ungstrup (23917) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 7, 2004
An unclear light yellow beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is of coriander and soapy water - the flavor luckily only of coriander. I don’t regret this being retired.
