Pale gold. Thick white collapsing head. Nose: chalk. Vaguely spicey too. A whiff of Tiger-balsam ("Vicks'"). Taste is spicey again, dry. Logically, not like mustard, but like the ground mustardseed powder, unmistakable. Some coriandre and galanga-root (Laos). Medium bodied, dry. Bitter aftertaste, spicey, pleasing. A nice beer - nothing outstanding, but worth the try. The mustardseed blends in very well.

Cloyde golden colour with a large foamy white head. Spicy and floral aroma with a fruity and yeasty note. Malty, light sweet flavor with a spicy and floral note.

Bottle. Cloudy golden coloured with a huge white head. Sweet aroma of fruits, yeast and spices. Flavour of fruits, yeast and spices.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a small head. Spiced and sweet malty aroma. Caramel and malty flavour with spices. Rather dry aftertaste.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2007 Bottled 0,33L. Much plenty and foamy head, good persistence. Orange hazy color, much torbid and full one. Spiced and fragrant aroma with notes of cellar, must, alcohol, mustard and clove. Much prickly and bubbly taste, soupy and spicy. Good alcoholic tone. A lot pleasant and with a protracted final.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Gold with white persistant head. Aroma of spice, definitely coriander, not sure about the mustard, pepper, yeast, honey. Medium body, dry aftertaste, hoppy and slightly ’hot’ from the spice.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2005 Bottle. Hazy gold with a large white head, and floaty bits. Big mustard aroma - just kidding; fruity and spicey with some caramel. Flavours are spicey, herby, sharp and sweet malty. Dry with a late, light bitterness. Light bodied and drinkable. Different and pretty good.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a small white head. Aromas are sweet caramel and spices (that could be mustard) and honey. Flavours are spicy and dry with a caramel malt body. Spicy on the tongue. Different and OK.

(Bottle 33 cl) Oooh, mustard beers - ain’t that just a grand invention? Blond, slightly hazy with a huge head and a high carbonation. To be honest, I do not sense any mustard here. This is just anothe blond ale - although a decent one. 300901

Bottled. Best before 2004. Hazy golden, somewhat cloudy with a firm white head. Sweet and malty aroma with some grassiness. Metallic palate. Spicy, herby flavour with fine, late bitterness. A bit sourish and witbier-like.

Bottled. Pours golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with some spice. Taste is rather bitter with some malt sweetness, spice is very prominent in the taste
