COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As the name implies, this is American style IPA - amber in color, medium-bodied, massive hop aroma & flavors aboundin the beer. Balanced by a gentle caramelly biscuity malt flavor.

Tap @ Artisan’s. Clear golden color. A bit lighter than expected for an IPA. Slight scent of hops. It was poured a bit too cold to really get a good sense of the hop aromas. Tastes old. Judging by the other beers I’ve had at this place, I wonder if they clean the lines properly. This one was really tasty at one time. Just not when they poured one for me. Blah.

Pours amber with a wispy white head. Some stickiness in the mouthfeel. Caramel flavor with a bit of buttery diacetyl. Aroma shows earthiness with a grassy hop. Soft mouthfeel lended by low carbonation. Finishes spicy on the back of the tongue.

Not a big fan of this. Hoppy citrusy aroma on the week side. Boring amber with a ver thin head. The taste was OK but there was something in the back ground that wasn’t right. I think it might have been some residue from cleaning the lines. If I ever go back, I’ll rerate it.

Draft. Poured a deep amber, rather dark for an IPA, with just the slightest touch of head. Aroma was weak, so weak that I couldn’t really detect anything at first. When the aroma did pick up it was light hops with an amber malt backbone. Flavor was far superior to the aroma with lots of fresh citrus hops and a light backbone of amber maltiness. Body was super thin and very watery. The hops were there in the flavor but this beer needs more aroma and body.

Nice looking beer with a good citrus hop nose. Carbonation was poor. There was a metalic aftertaste that prevented most in our group from being able to finish this beer. Basil should stick to Italian cooking.

Pours out a nice copper color with a small fading head. Aroma is of citrus hops and slight sweet malts. Mouthfeel rather watery and lacking good carbonation. Taste of citrus and light floral hops, nice malty flavors going on in the background, but the lack of carbonation drives the score down a bit.

on tap-pours a foamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is nice light citrus hops. Taste is citrus hops-with a bite, hint of malt. OK carbonation.
