this was a decent amber ale. To me tasted kinda like a lager with a bit of spice to it. Decent body.

Pours reddish amber with a big head. Aroma is sweat and peachy. Flavor is watery and a little peach, and malt flavor. Not terrible, but they have Bass on draught there, so there is really no point getting it when there is better stuff available.

Had on tap at King of Prussia Bahama Breeze. It’s about half price of the other beers and simiiar to Kilian’s Irish Red. I actually thought this beer was pretty good. It is almost devoid of any bitterness, and has a very mild sweetness. Lots of yeasty malty whtie bread with a hint of copper. Very inoffensive, but still has some flavor and feels nice going down.

I think this was listed as Captain Tony’s Amber at Captain Tony’s in Key West. In any event, the name denotes a beach area and Key West fits that description quite nicely. Pours average amber with a subtle roasted malt and peach aroma. Watery mouthfeel with slight hints of peach. Wasn’t expecting to get a rating from this place (if you’ve been there, you know why), but what the hey. It was free with my Key West Ghost Tour ticket.

The beer looked nice when the waitress brought. Nice coppery color, unfortulately, the copper managed to work it’s wan into thte aroma and tasste. Not much hops or malt and a flavor or pennys throughout.

Not bad for an AB product, all things considering. It is light bodied even for the style, with a bit of malt but not much in the way of the hop profile. A bit metallic in the finish as well as the nose.

On tap at the Kennesaw, GA Bahama Breeze. Pours a bright copperish red with a thin but persistent tan head. Nice lacing all the way down the 20oz glass. Smell is a light fruity malt and not much else. Taste is a decent maltiness, fruity and crisp. Some light caramel notes. Even a tinge of bitter hops in the finish especially as it warms. A slight tinny quality to the finish. Mouth is light to medium bodied, somewhere in the middle. Way overcarbonated, unpleasantly so, but this smooths out as it warms a bit too. Actually improves as it warms, not common for an AB product. Not too bad at all. A nice red lager.

No head, reddish amber. Scents of caramel/toffee and something metallic. Flavor is pretty nice of sweet malt that picks up caramel aromas and a touch of hops. Nothing great in the finish, but the initial flavor is pretty good.
