Almost translucent chestnut with a thin off white head. Aroma of brown sugar, black coffe and berry fruits on a malty base. Flavour follows on well with the malt and coffee coming upfront. A light tangy sourness and a light hoppy finish top it off nicely.

Oct 21, 2007 Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Very dark brown, thick lasting head. Good mix of malt, milk choc and hop. Toasty without being over the top. Very drinkable, good smooth, but toasty mouthfeel. Nice strong dark beer.

Dark coloured strong in alcohol and smooth on the palate. Some bitterness and dryness in a crisp full roast flavoured finish.
