[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2005] A hazy brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also with lighter notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet flowery combined with notes of caramel, leading to a slightly roasted and acidic end.

[Cask conditioned] Amber coloured. Fruity aroma and flavour. Lightly bitter finish.

Mid copper colour. Mild grassy hop aroma. Dry malt flavour. A bit doughy. A straightforward session bitter for supping, not analysing. Cask (handpump), Market Porter, February 2005.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Nut brown. Aroma of grass and anise. Dry and light bodied, yet firm and soft. Hoppy with a touch of lingonberries. Roasty and somewhat bready, salty finish with lingering bitterness. An excellent session beer!

Cask at the Market Porter, Borough Market, London. With Chris_o and joet. Fairly dry ’ordinary’ with flat malt and trace fruity elements. Lacks any discernable character but is not unpleasent.

Cask Conditioned at Hook Norton Beer Festival 03. Orange Amber bitter with thin head. Chewey mouthfeel with heavy malt flavours, a bitter refreshing finish, would be a good contender for a session beer, no overwhelming flavours.
