Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall, some time in early 2004. Rediscovered notes. Pale gold colour. Served at JDW temperature so not much aroma with some herbaceous hop peeking out. More hoppy on the palate, with a grassy, yet firm and robust, feel. Clean and fresh. Low on malt.

Cask (handpulled) at the Wellington, Birmingham. Another from a long session of golden ales here, this one edgng forward thanks toa keen balance and a sustained (yet never overwhelming) hop feel.

Cask Conditioned, JDW Banbury. Golden beer with white fluffy head. Thinly malted best bitter, with sharp light roast note, there is a peppery, leafy hop note running through the beer giving a satisfying fresh finish.
