Cask gravity at George, Bethersden. I mean I don’t have anything against English bitters and this is a not bad version, some decent malt fruit, but seriously, give it a bit more character fellas.

Cask (handpump) at The Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria, April 2006. Golden colour. Assertively hoppy, with the emphasis on citrus. Smooth, but clean, mouthfeel. Not a whole lot of complexity, but drinks nicely.

Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Slight vanilla and floral aromas. Sweet with not much hop in the finish. Not much happening.

Cask Conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham. Amber beer with perfect tight white head. Superb hoppy, full flavoured beer. This is an IPA to me, full of citrucy Lemon and grapefruit, sharp and dryly hoppy. Best beer on my mini trip to the city of my birth in an absolute belter of a pub, I can’t believe it has only been going 5 months. The Red Roses were out in force on St Georges day and there couldn’t have been a better way to celebrate. Well done Arundel.
