Light body with medium carbonation, perfectly balanced with pleasant slightly bitter aftertaste. Easy to drink and enjoyable. Nice one!

500ml bottle: BBE Sep 2015, poured into a UK pint sleeve on 23 April 2015. The first beer in my St Georgeís Day tasting event (shared with no one). Orange hue to the clear light amber/old gold body, the head disappeared very, very swiftly. Hops in the nose and taste, some malty sweetness in the background. Orange flavours come through in the taste to add to the sweetness, ends with a dry, crisp finish.

Hoppy apple-grass aroma. Iím looking forward to this one. With my taster sip Iím getting charcoal, green leaves and a clenched fist of citrus which is at odds with the aroma. A welcome surprise. Iím also now coughing because Iíve completely ballsed up oxeganting the ale in my mouth by breathing it in. As I make progress with my meal the metallic, smokey aftertaste seems to dominate rather disapointingly as I want more of the hoppy citrus. Texture is creamy and smooth.
