I enjoyed this more than others seemed - a pleasing dry hoppiness, attractive colour and lacing.
Not a lot of aroma, but plenty of fruity taste.
A winner after two watery ales in JDW

3.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear amber pint which took a while to settle. Faint smell of fruit and malt. Flavour is more dry and hoppy than I expected from the aroma. There’s a toasty-ness to the malt taste and the finish is mostly the hop and malt but the fruit comes through a bit too. Very drinkable.

Cask @ The Bricklayers Arms. The pour’s deep amber with no head. The nose is berry jam. angel food cake, caramel chocolate eclair. The taste has some mild red apple skin acidity, there’s also plenty of sweet baked brown bread and caramel. Light bitter finish. Slightly nutty snickers bar. Medium body. Sweet, but not bad!
