2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 hughie (3994) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2011
Cask at Pilgrims Progress (JDW), Bedford, in ’Spoons Beer Festival ’11, At least it was advertised as such, but now I see its not the Arundel beer listed. Amber with a small white head. Really no aroma to speak of. If you twisted my arm. I would hazard that it’s malty. Taste is sweet, oily and indistinct. The sharp bitter finish was unexpected.
