On tap at Arvada Beer poured a hazy reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of roasted malt, carmel,coffee and light cocoa. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of cocoa, carmel and light roastiness with a crisp malty finish.

On tap @ Arvada Beer. This was disappointing. Very light, watery, a bit of a roasty coffee flavor but it seems to be really oxidated and maybe a bit infected. I love porters but this was a sad attempt.

Tap at ABC - listed at 4.6 abv - dark amber, nearly black pour - complex nose of chocolate, vanilla, oak, light tannic notes, light spice and toffee - medium dry flavor, moderate bitterness - notes of bitter chocolate, vanilla, spice, oak - finish of vanilla and cream - this is a freaking awesome porter.

Tap @ brewery. Dark reddish brown appearance with a tan head and good lacing. Rich chocolate malty, strong toffee, caramel, earthy hoppy aroma. A touch nutty, caramel/toffee, rich chocolate malty flavor with a chocolate, toffee aftertaste. Pretty solid beer.
