On tap at Arvada Beer poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a lasting brown head. Aromas of roastiness, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, light vanilla and light dried fruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dried fruit, light licorice and a hint of coffe with a smooth lingering roasty finish.
