cloudy dark brown colour with a fine slightly brown-tainted foam and a correct lacing; some butterscotch in a discreet aroma, sweet with a respectable malt body, very clean palate; the finish is malty and a little bit earthy - no flaws but could afford more character

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Bov. It pours a deep ruby brown beer with a light beige head which has a good retention. The aroma is mainly of malt, ship rope, raisin, leather and apple. Sweet malt accentuated taste with hints of raisin, brown sugar, molasses, apple and dark chocolate showing up. Low carbonation. Some lacework. Medium bodied. Very drinkable. Subdued bitterness. Nice malty chocolatey finish. A pretty pleasant Dunkel. Thanks a lot Bov!
