shp555 (1678), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 7, 2009 Pours a brown color with a tan head. Aroma is malty, caramel, roast, and a hint of coffee. Flavor is coffee, roast, caramel, and a bitter earthy finish. gary07734 (391), Tyne & Wear, England Sep 27, 2009 Bottle in a Japanese-alike restaurant. Pours black and carbonated with no head, looks exactly like a glass of cola! Drinks fairly thick, sweet and malty, with a dark bitter finish. Fairly unusual for an asian beer, not entirely sure what I make of it. Plamadude30k (122), Tucson, Arizona, USA Sep 24, 2009 Nothing entirely unique here, but it is a passable dark beer. The nose is a little weak, but the taste and mouthfeel are both satisfactory. Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 17, 2009 This was fantastic. I’ve been really let down by most of the Asian beers I’ve had and this one made up for it totally. Like a mix between Young’s Double Chocolate and Xingu. jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Aug 30, 2009 From a bottle poured dark brown with a fair amount of head. Nice malty sweet flavor with a quick finish. pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Aug 21, 2009 334ml brown bottle. Dark brown with mahogany highlights. Good head, thick dense and creamy, long lasting. Malty nose, sweetish, trace of brown sugar, chocolate, faint rasiny note. Flavour had dark bitter chocolate, dry malt. Finish is very clean and dry with a little lingering bitter dark malt. Body is light, medium to high level of carbonation. ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Jul 26, 2009 Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee. Dry and roasted grainy malt flavour Hansen (2235), Randers, Denmark Jul 24, 2009 Thanks to Saxo: Dark brown almost black. Clear. Off-white head, fully lasting. Roasted notes, soy-sauce too? Light sweet start of the flavor, light notes of acidic too. Moderate bitter finish. Roasted notes too.
