Nov 8, 2004 Very dark beer with a strong head and a burn’t slightly aniseed and banana aroma. The flavour is mild and sweet with hints of banana. Overall not a bad beer but could have been a lot better.

Oct 15, 2004 very nice Japanese Black. Reminded me of an Irish beer but there was something missing; tasted one demensional. An excellent choice if you only have Japanese beers on the menu.

A plecent experience. This one is dark amber in color and has a malty aroma. The taste has hints of coffee.

Aug 30, 2004 Dark brown beer with a red gleam and a nice tan head. Sweet malt, brown sugar and coffee aroma. Roasted malt flavor. Fruit, citrus and slight coffee notes. Very thin in the finish. Still a nice and easy beer.
