2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
I couldn’t pick up a noteworthy aroma of any kind, but this beer isn’t bad, and preferable over Happoshu equivalent brews. A very standard beer in colour. RICE taste, and fairly dry. I like the palate, the bubbles have impact and run all over the tongue. Better than expected, not bad at all!
NOTE: This is a Happosei (発泡性), somewhere between a Happoshu and beer.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can 330ml (Nagoya)
Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma has very ligh corn notes. Light-bodied. "Clear", clean flavor ... or lack of it. Mostly just some sweetish corn maltyness. Low bitterness. Meh.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very light golden coloured body with a crisp white head that’s about a centimetre tall. Light malt aroma with some rice and lemons noticeable and very little else. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive rice flavours with not much malt and very little sweetness or anything else of substance. Aftertaste shows a subdued sweetness and perhaps a touch of malt, but that’s it - very easy drinking and not much going on, but at least no bitterness or offensive qualities. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from 7-11 in Narita, Japan on 20-June-2014 for ¥110 sampled a few minutes later in my hotel room in Narita.

aromat starego chmielu. kolor i piana typowe dla stylu. w smaku odrobinę bardziej goryczkowe niż inne japońskie lagery z koncernów. nic specjalnego.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Skunky smell. Tastes like a dirty straw/grain soda, mild grass hops, watery finish. Clear-ly a fail...

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Not really sure if this is happoshu or a regular Japanese lager. Anyways, your typical piss yellow fizzy water with a white head of foam. The taste is grain, sweet and that is pretty much it. If you let it warm up, it’ll get skunky. Drink it ice cold or not at all... which is probably the way to go.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can from supermarket. Light molasses/extract nose, cabbage, and a touch of hop aroma. Quite pale, but not really a creamy head (despite the name and the claim on the labeling). Slight tartness and some fruitiness in the initial / touch of cardboard and insect spray in mid / light fizzy final and then nothing. Thin-medium palate. Asahi, yeah okay. Not as bad as many. But not much there (thankfully, I suppose).
