Can 33 cl. Courtesy of my cousin Martin. Pours a clear yellow with a lacing white head. Sweet malty nose. Thin body, quite some brewing cereal - I believe rice is the main ingredient here. Ends sticky sweet with absolutely no hops. 011211

There’s seemingly not much middle ground with Japanese beers. They’re either really good or crap. This beer of course falls into the latter camp. Bog standard factory pale lager that tastes pretty much the same as the Super Dry. Corny flavours are quite dry and crisp but there’s no getting around the absence of genuine malt and hop character.

Can. Pale yellow with white head. Aromas of grass and grain. Flavors of lemon peel, cereal. Dry Finish. Light body with watery mouthfeel and high carbonation. Bettter than BMC in that its not offensive in metallic and fusel flavors but offensive because its so bland and flavorless.

Light yellow, good head. Malty, only slightly bitter. A clean finish. Fine for what it is - not my style though.

Can. Bright gold with scant head. Aroma has grain character. Solid but simple and sweet cereals. Syrupy mouthfeel. Sweet nutty grain flavors like supermarket muesli mix. Not bad for a macro swill.

Pale with no head. The aroma is a bit grainy, with some light notes of cooked vegetables. Similar palate. Quick finish.

Light yellow colored, little white head. Grassy aroma with even some hopped note, still rather bland with lemony note. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more fruity with sweet apple in start, aftertaste turns to drier with same apple, some cardboard here too.

This really isn’t anything special. Smell is weak and malty. Color is light golden with little head. Flavor is something near budweiser, but with a dry finish like the bottle advertises.
