very big white head that dissipates rather quickly, aroma of yeast, light golden color. A little hop comes through in the flavor, but has an almost sour aftertaste. Really tastes a lot like crappy light lagers that you can get domestically for a few b

Bottle. Poured to a golden yellow, very fizzy with a fluffy white head that quickly disappeared. Litttle to no aroma, very thin and watery body. Clean & crsip with little flavor. Short biggning, fast middle with a sharp quick after taste of slight bitterness.

watery, hints of malt, easy to drink, slight bitterness, slight sweetness, over-all would spend less on a domestic light for the same result

Bottle. Pale amber, very little head, disappears quickly. Aroma: bread, cereal. Palate: light body, thin feel, lively carbonation. Not a lot of flavour, starts with a plesant but light balance of fruity acidity and some malty sweetness with some hop bitterness in the finish. It’s drinkable, but not interesting.

Capa (1544) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 22, 2007
Clear golden, medium head. Sweet malts and some crisp hops. Medium body...actually pretty full for the style. Flavor is similar to the aroma, but with a slightly noticeable hop dryness to it. Finish has a real light bitterness and a bit metallic. Suprised. Not great, but maybe the best Asahi Pale Lager there is.

weak looking and tastng. there are some flavors that will not be described here because 1. beer is a relaxational drink and 2. if you make a beer drinker work for what the beer is about you better (a. make the result worth it. it is not a bad brew. it is not good. but i would like to ask something.... is a 2.5 considered quite good?

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2008 12oz’er split with the dong master Gregory Larson. We both agree while this beer is quite good, it has a unusaul after taste. This is very forgetable... if you want good asian beer try "THE HITE". rerate: better than ichiban

12 oz bottle split with my bro Pwn3d. Pours regular yellow lager body. Aroma and taste are slightly off the typical pale lager, but enjoyable--i would have to say better than miller light.* but not much. *referencing previous comments.
