12 oz bottle pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, grass and a bit of yeast. Taste is just a basic beer, malt and not much else.

Beer? This was the only thing on offer today so I drank it. The taste was light with little body. It was a drink.

Ours light gold in color. Mild aroma. Very light pilsner taste. Finishes clean on the pallette.

Sampled twice today at two different ramen shops in Hong Kong. Nice creamy head and yellow body, okay malt aroma. Very refreshing, and obviously it goes well with Ramen. Malty notes and a semi-crisp finish with some refreshing water notes. Works well with the food, probably would work well as a session beer.

Can. Seriously looks like a early morning pee. Smells like water and rice and water. Taste is water, rice, some sweet.

Bottle. Moderate carbonation. Typical Japanese lager; very light and simple yeast and hops aroma and flavor. Would not buy with my own $.

More of these than I can count. IN fact anything Asahi made up till early 2003 I have had. This is mediocre, it is not as good as Ichiban, Asahi does better but not out side this style. If you read the comments you will realise it is all over the place. They do not announce this but they will change a recipe and not the can just to see the reaction - brand is more important than content. This is a session beer. I know. I counted the cans in the nearby trash receptacles next to the park down by Shimbashi station. People drink it because it is low alcohol.
