Can on a train (Hida 8) going from Takayama to Nagoya. Clear golden - white head. Metallic, aluminium, candlewax, light bitterness, light malty, synthetic, cardboard, light hay notes, artificial.

Many of my mates in Taiwan swear by this. I find it’s a poor relation to Super Dry. It does have a malty zing and a stronger edge than most Jap lager. Refreshing with a grassy edge but still feels a little false. Overall though it’s cheaper than Super Dry and is certainly not a bad beer. I have heard rumour it’s just for the Taiwan market. I’d be interested to hear if that’s true or not.
