Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a note of DMS.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky, unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2011 350ml can at Tokyo vending machine, 250Y. This Happoshu is not beer, this is water with a bit of beer aftertaste. Not bad as a soft drink itself, but not beer. Aroma almost inexistent, bug bubbles white head, taste of cereals but subtle, dirty, acidic. Watery body.

Pours clear pale yellow.
Nose is floral.
Taste is chalky, tastes like a corn blend, not too dry, chemical aftertaste.

Artificial, rice, soyabean, chestnut, metallic, aluminium, watery, synthetic, unpleasant bitter/sourness. Bad.

Can, comes as Asahi Aqua Blue. Pale yellow, bubbly thin white head. Rice and Alkaseltzer aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Flavour: Rice and Alkazeltzer.

Pours a pale golden color with a white head. Aroma is malty, honey, rice, floral, and tiny hint of some peppery hops. Flavor is malty, rice, slightly floral, and just a hint of some peppery hops.
