douglas88 (746), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Apr 21, 2008 Can thanks to rayg1. Pours a light gold with a thick frothy white head. The aroma and taste are basically a strong malt. A ton of corn and some sweetness, but if I’m gonna have a lager I prefer this type which stresses a more natural malt flavor. Not bad at all.
motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Jul 17, 2008 canned. pale yellow, fizzy with not much sign of a head. dull and flavourless with no bitterness and a weird artificial lemon finish rayg1 (405), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA Mar 31, 2008 Another "fine" example of beer found in Okinawa. I’m not expecting too much from this one but let’s find out. 350ml can. Pours a pale yellow with a finger thick head that lasts fairly long but eventually fades to only a ring. Aroma is some hops, a bit more than I was expecting but still a funny sweetness presists that is not exactly pleasant. Taste is fairly sweet and tastes of corn. Actually alot of corn, this is one of the strongest corn flavors I’ve ever had in a beer. Seriously tastes like eating sweet corn on the cob. While this beer wasn’t horrible it certainly isn’t a striking example of beer. If I never saw this one again I wouldn’t shed a tear. KnutAlbert (2178), Oslo, Norway Jan 28, 2008 350 ml can.
Pale beer, lively carbonation. Malty, quite sweet. Grain or cereals.
A little dryness in the finish, but not enough hops. With some more crispness, this would have been decent. ogivlado (2340), Zagreb, Croatia Oct 23, 2007 Canned(350ml). -Clear golden coloured, minimal white head, malty nose. The aroma is weak malty, slight hoppy and faint fruity with rather bitter finish. Very industrial.
