2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Lata. Clear golden colour, medium white head. Aroma of grassy hops and bit malt. Ok mouthfeel. Grassy hoppiness, medium bitterness in the flavour. Ok drinkable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Jusco. Bright golden color with a tight head. Rich malty nose, bready, with light, grassy hops and a hint of citrus. Nice bready malt flavor with decent noble hop character. Citrus and herbs. Light bitterness in the finish. Not bad at all for a major. Wish it was a tad bitterer, though.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Aeon Mall (Ibaraki) liquor shop. Fresh and spirited nose -- grass, bitter lemon, and just a little cardboard. Medium straw color. Medium sweet malt, some good bittering in mid, and then it goes out single file in a decent balance. Okay. Well-mannered and smooth. The majors can make such clean and consistent brews.... just wish they’d give ’em more character.

Actually has a bit more life than I expect from Asahi,. Full bodied, corn, toffee, grassy hops. Nothing amazing, but with the Funwari and this, Asahi are making some encouraging steps.
