2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours crystal clear straw colour, with a thin fluffy head. Aroma consists of grains, cereal, metallic, slightly stringent. Tasting notes include very light malts, crackers, corn flakes, tad watery in the middle, with no bitterness at all, and a very dry clean finish. Could easily drink a lot of this, but it is very bland. Much better pale lagers out there.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can from the can. Cereal grains and rice aromas. Smells cheap. Flavor is watery and bland. Nothing going on in this guy except carbonation. Chugged it

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle 33 cl.
Pours pale, clear and sparkling. With a small frothy, white head. Aroma is very generic. Well hidden malt. Some hay or grass, under old books. Thin, lively, kind of sticky dry feel. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, kind of watery. It has a little surprise, I can’t quite pin down, in the tail.
As I would expect from a Japanese beer. Looks very correct. Taste very correct. And thus boring.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bière blonde, mousse régulière et bonne persistance. Nez très fade. ENtrée de bouche rafraîchissante, légère amertume. Bière correcte, pas exceptionnelle mais qui se laisse boire. Plus agréable que certaines allemandes.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
*Just throwing this here in case my "philippines" entry gets nuked.*
Can whilst in Manila. Sampled beside the Colt 45 from the same brewery. Pours a bright clear gold with billowing bright white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Big metallic notes on the nose which subside only a little on the flavor, but reappear on the finish. More hop bite and bitterness than the colt. Note as ricey as I had expected, but it does seem to be adjunct laden. First time i’ve ever seen "tapioca syrup" listed as an ingredient in a beer though!

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours golden. Caramel and malts with a dryish finish that is nice enough (for a lager). If i was going to drink a mass produced global lager this would be one of the few i’d pick.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2014 Pours light yellow gold with a fragile and sudsy head. No lacing on the glass.
Aroma: some light bready malts with a touch of rice and floral hops.
Flavor: Mild; a touch sweet up front and mildly bitter by the finish. Not as flavorful as one might hope.
Feel: Very smooth, light body; medium carbonation.
O: a decent and prototypical Japanese rice beer.
