HighlanderOne (453), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA May 7, 2008 Poured from bottle 5/2008. Malt aroma, not much else. A bit darker than I expected. Any head disappears quickly. Actually a pepper flavor along with the dominant malt. Something like hops in there too, noticed in the burnt veggie aftertaste. OK finish. Could be good with Indian food. Not bad, drinkable brew.
ska (33), Italy Aug 15, 2008 33cl bottle, pale yellow colour, medium white head, lively carbonation, malt and watery aroma, light sweet flavor, light bitter finish, simple and boring pale lager davidvasta (1), Charolotte, North Carolina, USA does not count Aug 14, 2008 I lived in Japan and really liked this beer. It was always reliable when you were out and needed a drink. Now it’s nostalgic more than anything else. I like it when having rice based meals. It just works good that way. Leopard_Man (53), New Zealand Aug 14, 2008 Served in a lager glass from a 330ml. bottle. Nothing special but, a good drop for a thirsty drinker. Inoffensive taste of grain, rice etc. Not a "trashy" or fantastic lager but worth drinking while watcing a game on t.v. iammarc (174), Inverness, Scotland Aug 13, 2008 Bottle, 330ml/500ml. Light yellow, bready aroma. A bit crisp, slighty watery, quite fresh when cold. Thirst quencher. patricks110 (142), Alberta, Canada Aug 13, 2008 Had in a 0.5 L can. Pours a gold colour with a frothy finger sized white head. Smells skunky, cheap and of rice and grass. Taste is of subtle malts, rice and hops. In my opinion, it is just like other Asian Beers- Tiger, Tsingtao, Yinjang, Sapporo, etc. Cheap and plain.
