Poured from a cool little 135ml can. Clear golden colored, fizzy white head. Weak hoppy aroma, same flavor with some maizy hints. Drinkable, but uninteresting, as expected! Crispy.

A very boring beer with some bitterness and a bit sour. Also a not so nice aftertaste that is undetermined. Light yellow in color with a white head.

I get a terrible headache every time I drink this. I don’t know what it is. It’s a cool version of a dry beer though, you can really taste the rice... I dont need to taste again.

330ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a small white head that leaves no lacing behind. Aroma is mild grains and grassy hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a sharp but mild hop bitterness that finishes quickly. A typical macro style lager that is about average.

From Nov 2006: A brown 500ml bottle, which was full of a dry tasting beer, brewed and bottled in the UK. 5%, but not super dry, as stated on my bottle. Urine yellow and clear looking, with a few bubbles breaking the surface of an otherwise headless beer. No smell, apart from an aroma simular to dishwater. Dryish is taste, but not cheek pullingly so, nor lipsmackingly thirst quenshing, just a poor lager. Dryness stays, but is not overpowering. This was my first and last ’Super Dry Asahi’ unless I am stranded on a Polynesian island and this is all that is available.

500ml can. Ample head dies fast. Lace is good though. Really pale yellow (Lovibond 3/4). As the description says - sharp delivery. Taste is subdued though, making for easy drinking. Great dry palate. Not as carbonated as I had hoped, but good. No memorable parting flavours... Sharp. Dry. Okay. No aroma to speak of.

I get a terrible headache every time I drink this. I don’t know what it is. It’s a cool version of a dry beer though, you can really taste the rice... but it’s not there to make the ingredients cheaper, it’s just what people prefer. Fairly good.
