Cask at GBBF 2011. Golden with a small white head. The aroma has nice bready malt, with hay and grassy hops. Clean malty flavour with grassy and herbal hops and a nice bitter finish

Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. Golden coloured with a thin cream head; honeyed aroma; soft and soapy mouthfeel with citrus fruit flavours - orange, grapefruit and tangerine; lingering bitterness to finish with some ginger and grapefruit notes. An excellent brew.

Cask at the Wallington and Croydon BF, London. Pours dark gold with a light, white head. Bit of floral hops in the aroma, with some dough. Light to medium sweet flavor, floral bitterness, some straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. OK balanced finish, toasty dough, some mild citrus, hay. Very nice drinker.

Cask at CASK with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has nice light citrus with a hint of light fruit and a grain backbone. Flavor has much more earthy grain with a hint of grass and citrus underlying.

Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen, London on 13th January 2010. Essentially bitter, with a nutty kick (hazelnut) with a few fruity, spicy notes. I found berry fruit rather than lemon. Zingy mouthfeel; beer very well-kept by the pub. I have not previously liked some of the lower-strength Ascot ales in the past, but this one was a very pleasant surprise.

Cask@King William IV, London. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is wood, mild resiny and riped fruity notes. Flavour is caramel, wood, some resiny and a bit nutty notes as well. Pleasant.

Very hoppy aroma. Golden coloured hoppy floral and citrus with some dryness and bitterness in a crisp finish.

Hand pulled at the Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Pleasant enough golden ale. Some light fruit wash. Fresh UK hops. OK, refreshing.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold with white head. Malty, light beer, slightly sweet, some caramel, vanilla, hints of fruity hop, pineapple. Slightly innocuous but ok.

Cask in the rake. Alround rating: Pale on the sweetside of biscuity malt, lemon and grassy hop comes through and tries to balance but it is on the sweetside.
