COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle conditioned; Regular.
A Golden Ale with a wonderful hoppy nose from the Cascade Hops. It’s fresh, crisp, true to style with light carbonation and floral hoppy notes. This is a unique and very quaffable ale indeed. Hops from Oregon USA. This is a unique and very quaff-able Ale indeed.

Full pint, from cask @Edgar Wallace, London. A low shiny white head over a clear golden brown colored body. Quite weak hop aroma, actually. Faint citrus fruits and flowers, and a strange apple- fruitiness. Light-bodied and watered down in the mouth. Sourish-sweet malt character. Some bread and caramel. Mild fruity bitterness. Short bitter-ish ending.

From cask at Great British Beer Festival on 6 August 2008. Mid gold with a small and diminishing white head. Flowery US hop aroma with just a fleeting early whiff of sulphur. Hop character on the palate is prominent but not overwhelming. Mainly grass / nettles with a touch of tropical fruit. Very smooth and mellow mouthfeel. Drinks very easily. Perhaps could use a little more bite. Overall, tasty and enjoyable in a quite laid back fashion.

Cask at the Old Fountain. Clear, rich gold pour with a foamy, white head. Aroma holds some nice hops, bit of pine and orange. Medium sweet flavor, some honey and bread, floral and juicy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, ideal carbonation. Balanced finish, light bready malts and lingering pine and citrus hops. Very good beer.

Very low carbonation, almost flat. Typical grapefruity bitterness but with a watery finish. Nothing much APA here. Dissapointing!

Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen on 15th January 2010. Copper colour with very little head. Sharp hoppiness rounded by quite sweet notes of caramel and malt. Citric hop kick then bittersweet finish on a flat, somewhat watery mouthfeel.

Cask-conditioned at the Crosse Keys (JDW), London 14/01/10. Golden in colour with a decent, lacy white head. Grassy hop aroma, with some sweetish malts and citrus fruit. Flavour of biscuit malts, more fruit and a lingering, hoppy finish. Very good.

Cask conditioned Handpump Edgar Wallace London A gold coloured beer with a loose white head. The aroma and taste have excellent hoppy notes. There are great grapefruit notes especially in the mouth. Some lemon in the nose too. Really good hop flavours. Another good Ascot beer.
