A Golden Ale with a wonderful hoppy nose from the Cascade Hops. It’s fresh, crisp, true to style with light carbonation and floral hoppy notes. This is a unique and very quaffable ale indeed. Hops from Oregon USA. This is a unique and very quaff-able Ale indeed.

Orangish amber colour with small head. Aroma is quite yeasty with some hints of wood and some saltyness. Flavour is much the same along with grass and some herbs. Dry palate.

Cask at the Kings Tun JDW, golden with a loose white head, aromas of dusty pale malt and a little floral and citrus hop. Dry and crisp, initially a little watery but filling out in the mouth with a spicy peach maltiness.

Cask at The Bell in Waltham st Lawrence. Pale golden beer. Head died away. Peachy and a bit too sweet. Missing some bitterness. Says 1000th brew on the pump clip. Expected more.

Aroma: light caramel malts, some bread. Appearance: pale clear gold, small white head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: low to medium carbonation, bitters getting a bit stronger, some grass, malts again. Overall: very pleasant Golden Ale. Bottle from Hogs Back Brewery, Tongham.

Soft smooth palate, some bready malt, a bit of sweetness nicely balanced by the hops. Lacking much strength in the flavour but a perfectly acceptable session bitter.

Bottle from Kris Wines, London. Light hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - flowers and citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Not as fresh as it should have been. 140913

Cask handpull at the Prince of Wales, Farnborough, Hampshire. Golden ale, with a small white head. No carbonation. Citrus lemon, hoppy aroma that was a little unpleasant. Touch of honey comes through. Bitter finish. Somewhat disappointing.

Hand-pulled pint in ’The Wrekin’, a good real ale pub near me in Wellington, Shropshire: 8th June 2013. Light golden citrus hop brew: refreshing but too simular to the host of golden brews using American (and sometimes New Zealand hops) hops that are flooding the UK market at the moment. Looked and tasted OK but I like a bit of darkness in my beers.

Bottle at home on a sunny afternoon, 19th August 2012. Aroma is non descript, pours a nice light gold straw colour, palate is a little fizzy for my taste. Taste is very pleasant though, pineapple and peach comes though, you get the nice balanced hops and bitterness. A beer I would have again potentially
