Cask at the 13th Egham BF @ EUSC - 15/11/12. Mid black with a thin coffee head that departs to the edge of the glass. Nose is roast malt, vanilla, nuts, chocolate, liqourice. Taste of roast malt, molasses, chocolate, nuts, liqourice. Full bodied with the carbonation pitched low and fine, smooth on the palate, roasty finish. Another great AJ !

Cask conditioned at Egham Beer Fest #13. Black with tan head. Heavy vanilla and walnut flavouring, like a big walnut whip, sweet and smooth. Interesting stuff.

Scopey (5506) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2012
Cask at the 13th Egham Beer Fest. It pours pretty much black with a medium tan head. The nose is roasted malt, charcoal, cocoa powder, chocolate, caramel, varnish and subtle nut. The taste is rather soft, roasted malt, light acidity, dark fruit, tar, nut, salt, coffee, chocolate and some caramel with a dry finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and soft mouth-feel. Rich and flavoursome.
