COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A dark ale with a sophisticated blend of malts combined with a distinctive hop character. A balance of caramel and chocolate flavours from the malt and a great aroma of pine and citrus from whole hop flowers makes this a memorable beer. It’s a session beer to savour.

Cask in the market porter with knut. Alround rating: Wet dog, grassy hay hop, bitter. Not to much going on, a bit boring.

Cask at Market Porter. Soot, smoke, some coffee, not very well balanced. Somehow this bach is not the same as previously described!

On gravity at Swindon BF 30/10/08. Mahogany with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, grassy hops and barnyard earthiness. Flavour was complex, with some sweet malts, fruit and tonnes of floral and grassy hops. Would agree that this tasted like a hoppy mild. Great, original stuff.

Gravity at Swindon Beerex08. Murky brown. hay nose. Defies expectation with dry, hoppy spices to contrast the high swetness.

A Mes rate: gravicask at Twickenham beer festival.
dark chestnut brown with a slight off white collar. Straw and hay in the aroma with a bit of manure with some good dark malt, lots of earthy character and some good bitter hops. Glorious flavour. Damn this is lovely stuff. Like a mild with lots of hops and a pleasing hint of barnyard. Really really drinkable. Bloody excellent.
