Cask at Ascot Festival 2011. Pours a light brown colour with a good hint of red hue. Plenty of hops in the aroma, the taste was fruity with plenty of grapefruit, with a dry bitter finish. Need to try this one again.

Cask-conditioned at Bucks and Berks Beeriodical, Seven Stars, Bristol May 2012. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, orange fruits, a touch of caramel and green herb edge, leading to a hoppy, dry finish. Good.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Reddy amber with white head. Full malty body, some chocolate malt with hints of caramel, good depth carrying a cocktail of hop notes, quite juicy fruity, pineapple and grapefruit. Really pretty decent and my beer of the final day of the Festival, so it lasted well.

Cask at the Wallington 2011 Beer Festival. It pours deep amber-red, with a thin beige head. The nose is resin, oily hop, light cheese, grapefruit and pine. The taste is pine, resin, oily raw hop, grapefruit, floral, touch of varnish and light alcohol warmth, with a decent warming bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly oily mouth-feel. Flavoursome.

Cask at the Wallington and Croydon BF, London. Pours a clear, dark amber-red with a white head. Modest pine hop nose. Very resinous, bitter flavor. Lots of raw hops, light toasty malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky finish, tons of lingering pine, light grass, some toasty malts and sugar. Yeah, raw.
