Malty taste with notes of crisp-bread, orange peel, toast, dried apricots and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Quite nice.

Cask conditioned at Egham Beer Fest #13. Hazy amber with slight head. Quite a sweet, smooth malty beer then developing a fruity hop. All a little understated but ok.

Cask @ CPK. Pours deep amber with a tiny white head. The nose is spicy, earthy hops, some dirt, plenty of fruity malts. Strawberry, light tobacco and toffee. The taste is less agressive than the aroma. There’s hints of slightly buttery toffee, smooth banana strawberry smoothie and toasted coconut. More earthy grass, some resin. Smooth, drinkable. Overall, not my favorite flavor profile. Perhaps not on peak form.
