Deep copper color and lasting beige head. Hoppy flavour with hints of chocolate and nuts. Very creamy.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 andym8 (1) - ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2008 does not count
Very thin, head lasted about a minute. Highly carborated, actually tastes as if it has been watered down with tonic water.
Not unpleasant, fairly bland, good value for money however.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 evilsoc (191) - WALES - MAR 26, 2008
I bought this to cook with (welsh rarebit) but I thought id rate it. Pours clear deep amber/light mahogany. Slightly malty and metallic initial nose. There is a pronounced caramel malt flavour there though that feels quite chewy in such a thin beer, this fades with a very, very faint hop bitterness. A bare-bones bitter with the pasteurised carbonated quality of an american macro lager but I do genunely like the simple malt flavour and at something silly like 40p a can it’s actually great value.
2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 SilkTork (4736) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - JUL 20, 2006
Can. Highly carbonated and metallic bitter. Quite thin, with minimal hops. Mildly sweet with hints of tea and Irn Bru. The carbonation could be said to be creamy, as it is soft, even if a bit too insistent. I could also be convinced that there are chocolate and nut flavours. However, the end result is a beer that is just a bit too thin and lacking in character to be that interesting or tasty.
