’Spritzy’ it how I would describe mouthfeel. It improved as it warmed up (served too chilled). Maliness was there - and hops came through.

Solid and simple one shared with McTapps. Offering some malt with a touch of caramel and bit flowers in the back. Average stuff between a meal and a big beer.

Bottle from Asda in Eastbourne. The beer pours out in a golden colour with airy head and medium body. Aroma of hops and barley with some hints of straw. Taste of bitter hops, vanilla, caramel, malt, bread and barley. Flowery finish. Drinkable and solid, yet nothing special. Average beer.

500ml bottle from Asda. Large frothy off-white head with good lacing. Clear amber body. Nose is light grassy hops, a little spice. Flavour is grass, straw, some grapefruit on the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is ok, medium carbonation, quite crisp. Nothing special but easy enough to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

(Bottle): Pours a clear amber, small white head. Aroma of caramel, hops and citrus. Subdued malt flavour with bursts of hops coming through along with slight hints of caramel. It’s not bad, would expect better from Shepherd Neame.
