First tasted this bitter in Chisholms, Paisley in May 1991. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear copper red in colour with a thin white head. Yeasty warm dough in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malt base gives a weak fruit note of redcurrant and little else. Strong metallic hop resins dominate the aftertaste. Weak finish as it ran out of legs. Poor bitter.

OK bitter with nice coloring. Not my favorite but glad I got a chance to try it before it was retired. Serving: Cask
