2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 BeerandBlues2 (6096) - Lone Tree, USA - FEB 4, 2010
Draught at Asher. Pours clear orange with a medium, fizzy white head, low retention and lacing. Aroma is heavy hop (pine, citrus, floral), light caramel malt, and soapy. Flavor is heavy hop bitterness with a medium maltiness to cut the bitter, and soap. Medium-light body, high carbonation, and a dry, astringent finish.

I had this on tap into a pint glass...The beer pours a super dark honey gold, good lacing and retention, a new sensation for me for an organic...The aroma is dead, I can’t pull out anything... The taste is light hops, but nothing close to living up to the 120 ibu it claims...Feel is ok, ok to drink.

I like this IPA. It isn’t overly bitter like most new IPAs. Very well balanced and delicious.

draft. light cloudiness; amber body. mostly clean nose of fresh citrus and lightly sweet pine hops. medium-light body, decent carbonation, light caramel sweetness, clean yeast. hop-driven, fresh citrus, pine and bubble gum. surprisingly good considering i’ve had this in the past and found it full of faults. it appears they’ve dialed this one in.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nikiel (713) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 6, 2011
Pours a clear gold. Smells sweet and citrusy. Tastes hoppy with sweet citrus notes and hints of raspberry.

Tap at brewery. Slightly burnt yellow orange body that’s fairly clear with a light white head. Some piney hops in the nose but not that strong. Citrusy hoppy flavor with a nice pale body. Well done.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 notalush (3740) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 10, 2010
Tap at Freshcraft - seriously unbalanced bitter beer - looks nice (hazy gold with a well-sustained head), but it is downhill from there - astringent bitterness throughout, with minimal malt character to balance - very bitter grapefruit character to the flavor - a light metallic quality - herbal, almost aspirin character on the back end - pass on this if you see it.
